Exclamation Matrix / Organization Chart

Points to Remember

1) Disconnect the power supply at the time of installing the SIM card
If power is not switched off there may be scope of SIM CARD Damage.

2) Ensure for proper direction of the SIM card with the SIM cardholder.
If SIM CARD direction is not proper there may be scope of SIM CARD Holder damage

3) Close the SIM cardholder and press in forward direction for proper locking of SIM card.
If SIM CARD Holder not locked properly than there may be a SIM Detection problem.

4) Keep the antenna away from the electrical appliances, motors, transformers … etc.
If you not maintain proper distance from the electrical appliances than there may be a scope of unwanted noise in speech due to electrical appliance interference.

5) Whip antenna supplied with the unit shall be always mounted vertically on a solid surface.
If it is installed horizontally signal catching capacity will get down as per Antenna characteristics if antenna installed in vertically than it will catch maximum level signal.

6) Always install the antenna as high as possible.
To get maximum signal in signal week areas.

7) To have the maximum output of the battery we need to charge the battery initially up to 6-7
If it is not charged properly before using than as per battery characteristics battery life will get down. hrs before installation.

8) Ensure the polarity of battery before connecting.
Other wise it will damage the electronic circuit.

9) Ensure proper protection from rain and sunlight.
Other wise unit will get damage.

Battery Testing And Maintainance Procedure

First we need to see initial voltage of the battery normally 6V battery if you charge fully it will charge up to 6.8V.

If connect 1A load than voltage should get down up to 0.4 to 0.8V Not more than that if is getting down more than that than there may a problem with battery.

If Voltage is got down by 0.4 to 0.8V than there may be a charging problem than you ask customer how many hours he is charging if he is not charge properly guide him to charge properly I.e. up to 6 to 8 hours than only it will give proper back up.

At the same time we have to check charging current how much charging current is drawing by battery depending up on battery terminal voltage it will varies.

If battery is drawing current from the adaptor you can say 100% battery is ok.

Do not over discharging a sealed lead acid battery when it is in use to avoid over discharging stop using the battery whenever the voltage drops below 5.25V ( The 6 v battery ) Otherwise the battery life maybe greatly shortened.

When the battery is not in use, it should be charged timely for next use. If the battery is continuously used and can supply no more electricity, then user should charge it up as soon as possible to keep a longer life.

Do not store near hot places nor expose in sunshine.

Do not charge the battery in a sealed container.

Avoid short circuit of battery .When the battery is not in use, it should be charge.

Troubleshooting Different problems in Idea CCB.

Problem 1) No outgoing calls to BSNL Landline numbers

Solution:- Check Local area code is programmed or not if it is not entered need to programme local area code where the unit is installed.

Problem 2) Display shows continuously net searching.

Check Antenna connectivity it should be proper and also need to check any breakage / damage in Antenna.

Problem 3) Display shows continuously battery low message on console display.

Immediately need to connect Adaptor out put to the unit if power is not available immediately need to power off the unit till power comes other wise battery will get damage.

Problem 4) Display shows continuously enter local area code or Programming mode.

Check programming mode switch it should be in off mode if it is in on mode immediately change its position to off mode.

Problem 5) Coins are Jammed in Validator

Pull the Validator lever then automatically all jammed coins will get release no need to open any internal parts and while installation it should show to the customer so that as and when problem comes he will do the same and no need to visit the customer place either dealer or company engineer.

Problem 6) Display shows continuously SIM MISMATCH.

CONTACT YOUR LOCAL IDEA DEALER / SERVICE ENGINEER.

Note:- SIM Card will come along with the unit from the company and need to instruct to the customer don't touch the sim card because these sim cards are specially designed for Idea BOX and these sim cards will not work in any other equipment if customer changed the sim card with any other sim card this problem will come.

Problem 7) One way speech

Check RT 200 Connections in the hand set. / Losse Contact in Coil Cord

Problem 8) Unit completely dead on A.C

Check Adaptor LED it should be glow if it is glowing Pls check its connection at the unit end if LED is not glowing Pls check its connection at Power switch board if every thing is ok Pls change the adaptor.

Problem 9) Unit completely dead on Battery

Check battery output voltage it should be above 5.4V if it is below 5.4 V unit will not work. Normally fully charged battery will show 6.6V and it will give 24 hours plus stand by and 4 hours plus talk time. But customer need to ensure proper maintenance if it is not proper battery life will get damage.

Problem 10) Display shows continuously Net searching.

Solution 1) Check the Antenna

Check Antenna connectivity it should be proper and also need to check any breakage / damage in Antenna.

Solution 2) Check the SMA Connector

SMA Connector’s center Pin is damage so network is not reaches to module in that case
Change the SMA connector.

SMA Connector Damaged

Solution 3) Check the Sim Card damaged or Number is dead

Solution 4) Pin Code Request Off

Please Contact Service Engineer

Problem 12) Display shows continuously INTIALISING.

Solution 1) Please Contact Service Engineer

Problem 13) Coin Collection / Coin Not Dropped / After Receive the call Coin return..

Solution 1)
Open the cash box and pull/push the cash box he open validator button which is on the up of cash box

Solution 2)
Remove the four screw of CCB Unit which is on the Base of the box.

1) Check the Relay shaft
If Jam remove the Jam
